The Making of Man!k

man·ik

/ˈmanik/:

A voice given to the deeper parts of ourselves that we often try to silence.

For years I only seemed to be able to make people listen when I made art and I discovered this at the age of seven. At the age of 8 I discovered my love for lyrics and that although in conversation I couldn't seem to ever find the words I wanted to express myself, but when I sat with a beat to write everything just made more sense.

However, I couldn't choose one or the other as emotions come up and inspiration flows out of me in various forms so over time I've been developing a multitude of skills so that no inspired thought will ever have to go unheard due lack of skills to create it. Words, music, visual art, or a combination of it all; nothing will keep me silent again.
